Stone Labyrinth – February 26, 2012

This week’s featured photo is one of fifty-four that have been uploaded to a recently added “New Releases” Gallery within the last 30 days.    For visitors who are already familiar with the content throughout the rest of my website, I will be uploading all new content directly to this gallery before distributing the photos to their respective galleries after approximately a month.  So far this month, photos from Barcelona, Girona, Cinque Terre, Chicago, Houston, St. Kitts, and a number of restaurants have been added!   This particular photo, which was taken in Girona, Spain, is representative of the “old” portion of the charming...

Chicago Cloud Gate – February 17, 2012

In a surprising move, I’ll be a day or two early with this week’s post, as opposed to the typical day or two late….sort of.  I don’t have the post written yet, but due to the timing of a current exhibit, I felt it was urgent to get this post up for all of my fellow Chicagoans.  While Cloud Gate, more commonly refered to as just “The Bean” is always worth a visit, from now until February 20th (only 3 more nights!), there is a lightshow exhibit going on from 6-9.  I highly recommend anyone who can, give it a visit (but later at night preferably to avoid the crowds.) More text will follow this weekend with a better description of my...

Maybe Next Year – February 5, 2012

Like it or not, today symbolizes six to seven months of more productive Sundays (at least for me, and probably many other football fans throughout the nation).  Though my team’s season was all but ended a few months ago after some untimely injuries, I still managed to watch at least some football nearly every week.  After the official end to the 2011 NFL season with tonight’s Super Bowl, there will be no more pre-game shows, no setting fantasy line-ups, and no more two to three game Sundays – at least not until the 2012 season starts in August/September!  As sad as I am to see the season come to an end, I am looking forward to getting back that...
